Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Bluetooth scanner work?

The scanner uses the Web Bluetooth API to request device discovery. When you click scan, your browser shows a device picker. Once you select a device, its name and connection status are displayed.

Why is Bluetooth scanning not working?

Web Bluetooth is only supported in Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge). It also requires HTTPS and user interaction. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.

Is the Bluetooth test private?

Yes. All device information stays in your browser. No data is transmitted to external servers. The Web Bluetooth API is entirely client-side.
