How does the USB device test work?
The test uses the WebUSB API to list USB devices already authorized by your browser. If no devices are pre-authorized, you'll be prompted to select one. Device information includes vendor ID, product ID, manufacturer name, and product name.
Why don't I see my USB device?
WebUSB requires explicit user permission for each device. Click the scan button and select your device from the browser's device picker. Some operating systems or browsers may not support WebUSB.
Is the USB test private?
Yes. All device information is displayed locally in your browser. No data is sent to any external server. The WebUSB API operates entirely client-side.
